In business there are peaks and valleys. It’s easier to maintain a good business rhythm when business is good. In my opinion it’s equally important, if not more important to remain consistent when business is not so good. You started your company because you have a gift to share with the world. You may be working hard for a reward that has yet to arrive. It’s frustrating. I know. I’ve been there. I’ve had weeks where I wrote a newsletter consistently and over those weeks, I didn’t received one additional person on my list. But I kept doing it. Why? It’s the right thing to do. Although you may not be reaching any new people, don’t lose sight of how the 27 people on the list might be receiving my content. You never know what message will be right for whom at what time.
Call to Action: Remain consistent with your communications to your followers, whether it’s with social media, a blog or a newsletter. Give your gift without expectation that you will receive gifts in return.
